Kids and their attitudes!!!!

As I stated previously, I have a 9-year-old son. His name is Zackerie. Here lately he has had a HUGE attitude problem. I am not sure if this is just a phase or perhaps from the changes we have had in the last year. He has been through a lot in this last year. We have had to move several times. That means a lot of school changes as well. He NEVER used to talk back or get any kind of attitude with me. He was always my sweet baby boy who did whatever I told him to and was very happy about it. Now, all I get are tantrums and back talk. Really makes me want to beat him. Of course I don't but that doesn't mean I haven't wanted to. LOL! I am sure we all have felt this way at some point and time. So can someone please help me out???? Is this a phase or just him being temperamental cause of the changes?
